We design and build wet material drying systems based on our rotary drying equipment. Known for their durability and efficiency, our rotary dryers are the best-sold industrial dryers on the market according to customers' feedback.
These highly effective dryers can dry granular and powdery materials with high moisture and viscosity using direct or indirect heating.
Therefore, these rotary dryers are popular in the mining, cement, construction, metallurgy, chemistry, and other industries.
Wet material drying
1. Mineral drying
As a popular mineral dryer, it can do very wet ore drying, such as gold ore, iron ore, copper ore, bauxite, tungsten concentrate, and other metal ore powders.
Our dryers can also do non-metallic mineral drying, such as limestone, gypsum, clay, dolomite, kaolin, bentonite, talc, fluorite, sludge, slag, ore slime, etc.
2. Wet sand drying
The construction industry relies on the high-quality sand for the buildings and roads. Sand dryers are engineered to reduce moisture content to 1%, making them an ideal solution for both natural sand and manufactured sand drying.
Natural sand Drying: River sand, sea sand, and other heavy mineral sand with large humidity.
Manufactured sand (M Sand) Drying: Silica sand, quartz sand, pebble sand, frac sand, garnet sand, zircon sand, etc.
3. Coal drying
Coal drying is essential for improving the heating value and combustion efficiency of coal used in coal plants and energy facilities. Our rotary coal dryers can dry lignite, anthracite, coke, petroleum coke, fly ash, coal slime, slurry, activated carbon, carbon black particles, and other coal byproducts.
These coal dryers have adopted the advanced, environmentally friendly and energy-saving drying processes and technologies, which can effectively reduce the moisture content of coal from 20%–70% to below 13%.
4. Other bulk materials drying
Rotary dryers are also widely used in cement plants for drying cement raw materials to produce the popular Portland cement.
In agriculture, our rotary dryers are used to process biomass materials (such as sawdust, wood chips and corn straw), fertilizers (including organic and compound fertilizers), and poultry manure (e.g., chicken manure). Efficient drying is essential to enhancing the quality and usability of these materials.

High capacity and excellent drying efficiency
The large rotary dryer has a high drying effect and a large capacity ranging from 1.9 to 76 tons per hour.
With the flexibility to adjust both drying temperatures and times, our dryers can handle a wide range of materials, from high-temperature applications like mineral sand drying (up to 800℃) to low-temperature needs such as sawdust or gypsum drying (below 300℃).
Spec./m | Capacity (t/h) | Highest Inlet Air Temperature (℃) | Shell Cubage |
---|---|---|---|
1.5×14 | 5.3–6.6 | 700–800 | 24.7 |
2.4×18 | 17.4–21.7 | 700–800 | 81.4 |
3.6×28 | 60.8–76 | 700–800 | 285 |
Our rotary dryers feature high-temperature flue gas systems that achieve up to 80% thermal efficiency. This technology maximizes evaporation and utilizes the entire surface area of the material for drying, ensuring energy-efficient operation while reducing moisture content to minimal levels.
With drying times ranging from 0.5 to 5 seconds, our dryers ensure consistent, fast processing for a variety of materials. The final theoretical humidity is 0, and the reduction depends on the original humidity.
Flexible fuel options
One of the outstanding features of our rotary dryers is their flexibility in fuel selection. These rotary drum dryers can be powered by a wide range of fuels, including natural gas, coal, anthracite, biogas, diesel, methane, and biomass fuels.
This flexibility allows users to choose the most cost-effective and locally available energy sources, reducing operating costs and ensuring high energy efficiency.
User-friendly and durable design
The rotary drum dryer machine is an inclined or horizontal rotating cylinder. Its key parts include the cylinder, lifting plates, transmission device, support device, and sealing ring. This design ensures easy transport, installation, and operation.
The key wear parts are made of high-strength manganese steel, providing wear resistance up to 4 times greater than the standard steel. Thus, this increases the service life and reduces the maintenance costs.
The multi-lifting plate design inside the rotary drum can help distribute materials evenly, ensuring consistent heat transfer and eliminating material adhesion on the inner cylinder wall.
This design significantly improves drying efficiency and reduces the risk of operational issues, resulting in a more reliable and cost-effective drying solution.
Eco-friendly and energy-saving operation
Our rotary dryers are designed with energy conservation and environmental impact in mind. This energy-efficient design helps companies reduce their environmental footprint while optimizing production processes.
The drying process is fully automated, with temperature, time, and drying effect all controllable. After drying, the output temperature remains below 60°C, making it safe for direct transfer to the silo for continuous production and packaging.
